ICFI-2018 is an international seminar broadly addressing Intelligent systems, sensor networks, Interent of Things, Information systems. The seminar will address the trends, challenges and future roadmap within a conglomerate of existing and novel technologies and recent advaces in information technology field and its application. This seminar will feature a comprehensive technical program including special sessions.
The goal of ICFI-2018 is to provide the outstanding forum for faculties , research scholars, user exchange ideas, techniques and tools. This seminar emphasize on promoting high level of interaction between theoretical and practical and applied technologies of information systems. This seminar will serve as platform to cover advanced aspect and approches of Intelligent systems, information systems.

Government College of Engineering Karad is a premier institute in Western Maharashtra established in 1960 with the efforts of Late Shri. Yashawantrao Chavan. This institute is an autonomous institute of Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and is acting as a vital education center since many years. The institute offers 5 UG programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Information Technology and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and also PG programs in Civil Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and Master of Computer Applications.
Government College of Engineering Karad is one of the eleven institutes from Maharashtra state selected for participation in the third phase of Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP-III) – an ambitious project of Government of India. 10 out of 11 courses including UG and PG are accredited by NBA. The institute is spread over 40 acres of serene and green campus and is a predominantly a residential campus.
